We Interrupt Your Scheduled Program

It took me a while to get the meaning of programming.

Television P-R-O-G-R-A-M. Then it clicked.

You see, I was morbidly obese from snacking on junk information.

I’d shove hours of Fakebook, Snapchat, and reality television in my head.

And I began to feel dumbed down and comparing myself to others.

Geez, I was packing on some hefty thoughts.

I tried to digest all the social feeds, billboards, commercials, music, and Netflix all in one day.

But it didn’t matter…

I gave it permission to force-feed my media addiction.

Thank God for singing birds.

I heard birds chirp from my window but didn’t take it as a BIG clue.

But one day, I pulled myself off the couch and started walking.

After a brisk 15 minute walk, I didn’t feel dumbed down and depressed.

WOW! And this is free?!

It’s no lie. Walks in nature bring clarity. No longer bloated with worry.

And like that, I barfed up all the bullshit!

I said to myself, “Self, stop worshipping a pixel!”

Take my story as solid advice… Don’t take nature for granted!

Tip: Walks in nature, journaling, mantras, lifting heavy shit, and calling a friend is a great start.

Keep in mind…

The top 10 supermodels look lame compared to the morning sun, trees, birds, and stars.

The Sun/Son rises for you.

The birds sing for you.
