1 Way To Eliminate Overwhelm In Your Cluttered Mind And Start Taking Action

I stare at the wall for hours.

I’m frozen.

No way to shake off the worries, guilt, and shame.

Is it my fault that my parents suffered in poverty?

Gangbanged by overwhelm.

This is happened all the time… Including in my freelance copywriting career.

I say to myself, “Self, you better get out this funk, or something bad shit is gonna go down.”

Do you suffer from overwhelm too?

I have an experiment for you to try today, and it has to do with your eyeballs.

  • Find a spot in your home to be private.
  • Grab a sheet of paper and pen.
  • Find 1 positive material with solid emotion to you (greeting card from your kids, a heartwarming picture of your dad, a picture of your wonderful pet) and keep it nearby.
  • Write out 2 shitty events from your past that keep nagging your mind.
  • Of the 2, pick 1.

Now that you have one shitty thought in your head play it again in your head.

After the event is over, look right at your positive material object and begin to overwhelm the negative event with hope.

The mission here is to unlearn the shitty thought.

Play a new mental movie in your mind.

Give yourself hope.

To shine a light on your mind and memory.

Give it a shot today.

If you feel 1% better, do it again.

By day 10, you’ll feel 10% better. Maybe more!

The key is to make it a habit without all the gross therapy acceptance.

Stay hot out there.
