Marvin Heemeyer and Killdozer

On June 4th, 2004, Marvin Heemeyer unleashed Killdozer on the peaceful town of Granby, Colorado.

It all started when Heemeyer feuded with Granby town officials.

Officials say he violated health rules by dumping sewage without connecting to the city sewer system.

After several months of dead-end meetings, Heemeyer comes up with a sinister plan of wreckage…

… build a monster machine and destroy anything or anyone in its way!

Being a welder, Heemeyer modified a bulldozer with layers of steel and concrete.

Colorado State Police tried to shoot him with handguns and rifles but didn’t have enough firepower to stop him.

They even tried a flash-bang grenade down the exhaust to shock Heemeyer. But it didn’t work.

After terrorizing the people and bulldozing local buildings, Heemeyer gets stuck into the basement of a local hardware store.

After several minutes of trying to get out, Heemeyer gives up.

SWAT team jump on top of Killdozer and try to pry open the door… But no luck.

Minutes later, they hear a single gunshot.

After taking a blowtorch to the steel, they discover Heemeyer committed suicide.
