Ziggy-7: Strange Loops And Unshakeable Faith

Luke 18:17 “What I’m about to tell you is true. Anyone who will not receive God’s kingdom as a little child will never enter it.”

When I was seven years old, deep-sea monsters didn’t have a chance of dragging me to hell when I leaped into Ziggy-7.

My mantra, “time to zoom,” engaged all systems!

And if the monster attempted to scratch Ziggy-7, their head exploded and melted into a pool of runny diarrhea.

I embraced role-playing as a kid.

And in 2021, journaling is a chance to embrace role play again.

You see, Ziggy-7 didn’t shut down.

When discouraging thoughts creep in about my past, I take it as a distress signal from my seven-year-old self.

As a kid, Ziggy-7 is my bed.

Today, Ziggy-7 is my journal.

When I write in my journal, I send back signals of hope.

“I know you can’t see me… Everything is working out for your good.”

As you can see, I’m a wounded kid in an adult body.

Safe zones and my creative process walk hand in hand.

We all have the choice to join forces with our imagination and create unshakeable faith – believing without seeing it.

I love pizza parties, fart sounds, and dancing when no one is looking…

… But the party crashes when my imagination gets caught chatting with dark forces.

Seek a place to channel the muse, and you’ll receive comfort.

Take the time to jump back into wonder.
