Remote Copywriting With Fears Of Failure
Going into business and failing is like a bloody sore on your lip.
Then you have to heal your wounds and try to figure out how you got it in the first place.
Backtracking is scary.
This is a common problem for fresh, timid entrepreneurs, copywriters, marketers too.
But… it is easily preventable.
How, you might ask?
It starts with your deep sense of belonging.
Do you feel confused and waste big money time because you don’t know what to do next?
In the past, this was my biggest hurdle.
And it dawned on me that I’ve always had this problem since I was a kid, but didn’t have awareness with the boot on my neck.
Luckily I found a secret in my journey while getting confidence to go out and do the damn thing!
15 years ago, I left home and tried to get a job in construction (because my dad worked construction and couldn’t afford to hire me), but had no previous experience, therefore, nobody would hire me!
Therefore, money and food became scarce, and I little time!
“But, God… I’m a good guy. I’m trying my best. I need a little help here!”
And, by the divine force of Universe and God… I got the help that day.
So what’s this secret? Well first…
… What about you?
If you want to get the big leap, make the big bucks (or any penny flicked your way), you have to get clear.
More in this in a sec, but a quick story.
Back in 2013, my pants were covered in coal dust because I got hired at the largest coal surface mine in America, Black Thunder Mine.
I drove around in 400-ton tonka trucks the size of a two-story house! It’s dirty, boring, and requires a lot of mental energy because of the constant focus of hazards like rolling rocks and sleepy drivers.
One day, I had a near-death experience because another truck hadn’t seen me with the glare of the sun in her eyes. She slammed on the brakes before the last second and punched into side ditch…
…and at that moment, I knew it was time to get out!
But, how could I get out if I didn’t know what to do next?
With a magic force in my journey, I pulled out an auxiliary cord and programmed my mind with sales, marketing, and copy…
… instead of listening to heavy metal and the football game.
I got clear about what I want to do because I practiced communication with myself.
Self-talk. ( I want to work from home.)
Motivation. ( This failure is an opportunity.)
Everyday reminders. ( Today is a money day.)
Action. (Write copy every day.)
Here is the secret to breaking free of the old BS:
Crystal Clear Communication with yourself is the key to big change.
Write it down.
You see, the only thing that prevented me from doing “my thing” was fear putting its foot into my door because I didn’t want people to ask how my business was doing.
Can you believe it?
I let fear direct my minor and major choices.
But with clear communication, I began to surge my soul with a source of energy that made me better than I have ever been in my life!
I have a beautiful wife, new friendships every year, and a business from home.
And that’s why I am happy.
And you can too.
That’s the key to success.
Picking up a voice and getting very clear with faith.
FYI: Everything… everything you do in life requires faith.
Even the small drive to the grocery store.
You can’t prove when the last minute is!
Therefore, you faith must be channeled, and clarity with keeping your head high.
I hope that helps you today.
