How I Napalm My Workspace For 10x Success
Emails, tabs, apps, calls, texts, buzzers, newsfeeds…
All are fighting for my attention.
But how could I set this aside? I could miss the call of a lifetime!
What a joke! I was in denial.
After significant burnout, I had to grab the bull by the horns!
I had to get ruthless.
After licking my wounds, I pulled the trigger and set napalm to my workspace.
No more iPhone in hand. Candy bowl tossed in the garbage. No more teenage bullshit to distract my focus.
This act of “Thanos Snap” made me realize the disgusting worship of my iPhone and computer.
Silly me.
In reality, I get more done with a pen and paper.
Which leads to crystal clear thinking.
Then follows massive action and solving problems faster.
That’s the power of simplifying.
My confidence bursts out when I get ruthless about my workspace.
And you can too.
Grab a pen and paper and study your workspace for ten minutes.
Ask yourself,
- What am I afraid to cut?
- What can I eliminate right now?!
- What’s the cost if I don’t do something now?
And keep in mind to napalm with a good spirit.
Don’t be a jerk to yourself or others.
And don’t be afraid to let go either.
