10x Personal Growth Challenges As A Freelance Copywriter And How You Can Get Cold Hard Cash In Your Hands
Back in 2014, I had a severe learning curve exposed.
I couldn’t concertrate on anything I put my mind and heart to.
I wanted to leave my job… but bought more books than I could handle.
I wanted to feel better… but I bought more supplements that I could handle.
I wanted to be a freelance copywriter… but I took on too many courses.
As you can see I was addicted to “desire and acquire” and had little results to show for it.
And in early 2015, I was so mad because I thought I was doing the right things, but had zero to show for it.
No money. No clients. No customers. Nothing.
Until I realized that I was ONLY focused on looking like an authority, instead of doing what an authority really does when they start.
Action and tactics OVER watching and dreaming of the end results.
I was focused on looking good and having a fat bank account.
But when it came to action, I was running around everywhere. With little focus on giving value to my target market.
I want to help you where I had really bad trouble in my journey.
I’ll do my best to nutshell it all for you in this post.
This isn’t just for copywriters or online business owners. This is for anyone trying to get a hand and out of the mud.
Okay…
To get results, you have to fill the gap.
Let put this another way…
To eat a really good sandwich, you have to fill it with the goods!
But you don’t just stare at the bread. You have to start with one food, right?
There is the may! Yippee! Now, twist off the lid. Put a knife into the mayo jar, and plop it on the bread. Now get a nice and even spread.
OH! There is a piece of lettuce. Tear of a size to your liking and put it on the stack.
Are you seeing the fractal, one focus at a time process?
Pretty simple!
If not…
Let me put it this way…
The end goal is good to vision (complete sandwich), but the real action and results happen when action + focus are put into play.
One, laser-focused money maker tactic to explode results, including your confidence in your journey.
Start by getting out piece of paper and dumping out all of it.
For example let’s say you want $1000.00 to start.
That is your vision and end goal (perfect sandwich).
So happy to see it handed to you!
But before you do that, let’s start at $1 dollar (twisting off the tie of the plastic bread packaging).
If you are a copywriter and want a client… what would you have to do first in the journey from a new copywriter to 1k?
Be somewhere and a somebody.
Stop the whole comparision to other copywriters and businesses.
You have something to offer to the world.
So if you are a copywriter than wants to write for local gym or small business gym online, start writing out what THEY want.
What would they want in a crumbling economy?
A new and easy way to get customers with your superpower as a copywriter.
WORDS.
WORDS are symbols that get people to feel something.
And you are somebody that gets people to feel something.
Start asking better questions instead of looking for answers.
You’ll most likely get farther ahead by getting out of the denial, and visioning a different outcome.
An outcome that gives value to your market, instead of you focusing on “gimme gimme” which results in nothing.
Start really, really small.
Don’t overwhelm yourself and ask better questions about this sandwich you want.
If you want get hard cold cash in your hands, then offer your mind questions that pay off well.
Then offer that knowledge to your customer.
Rock on.
