Back in January of 2017, I noticed that I was very unhealthy. I worked for heavy equipment company hauling coal for 12 hours… nonstop.
I only would stop for a bathroom break or fuel up. Other than that, I would sit on my tush, listen to CNN, and snack on Cheetos to keep myself entertained.
Not a comfortable lifestyle. I gained a good 30 pounds of solid body fat in the 13 years I worked for them.
Anyways…
I noticed that if I didn’t start working out or buy a gym membership, I would have severe health problems. My blood sugar was out of control, and my pants were shrinking!
So after that workweek, I drove down to my local gym and purchased me a monthly membership. Everything seemed good.
Slow gym, tons of machines, and a pretty hot chick at the front desk!
But after a few weeks of pushing and sweating… I didn’t drop much weight. Maybe 2 pounds. And after the weekend bbq, I was back up in weight!
I was so frustrated. Frankly, I was sad. I didn’t know what to do.
So I put on a hoodie and went to the corner bike machine to soak in sweat and sorrow. It turns out it was one of the best choices because 10 minutes into the bike ride, my Divine Source delighted me with a great idea and peace.
The voice in me said, “The next time you come in here, don’t look for what to do. Ask what NOT TO DO!”
Yea, that was it. And the Stripper Technique was birthed into my life!
So that very next day, I walk in realized how overwhelmed I was with all the machines and weights. I did what the opposite and started to AVOID right from the start.
Before I knew it, I was only using 5% of the gym. Few free weights and the elliptical for cardio. That was it!
I saved time and burning body fat, but my mind transformed into a productivity master!
All by “Stripping Out” the area. Giving me space to think and focus.
And this powerful technique is what I want to share with you today.

The Stripper Technique is simple and can be applied almost anywhere in your online business.
For the sake of time, let’s say you put out YouTube videos for your nutrition center and want to get more high-quality leads.
To get your audience’s attention, you have to have a catchy headline, ONE TOPIC of conversation, and a solution to their problem.
The topics in weight loss are usually saturated, and there are experts all over the online space. ( Way too much competition and regurgitated conversations.)
One thing people hate to admit is that there is nothing NEW underneath the sun.
And in the weight loss market, no magic pills have been invented yet. If it existed, you’d charge $10,000 for one pill and be a billionaire on Mount Badass.
But let’s get real here: Weight loss leads are in HUGE denial.
They don’t want to do the extra work.
They know it’s hard to kick sugar and a surplus of calories. They are busy and don’t have a lot of time to change. And don’t even start talking about “extra work” because that gets them running the other way.
So, what do you do to get their attention and get them to opt-in to your offer?
Start by asking, “What can I avoid talking about?”
That’s right. Simplify your conversation and get to the truth.
It might go like this:
- I don’t need to talk about running.
- I don’t need to talk about sit-ups
- I don’t need to talk about getting rid of donuts.
- I don’t need to talk about working out more.
- I don’t need to talk about how frustrated they are about their weight.
- I don’t need to talk about treadmills.
- I don’t need to talk about sugar.
Start listing out all the things you can avoid talking about, and begin to see that most of what you list is all over the internet.
Now that you have an avoidance list, what would you like to talk to your audience about that they are in DENIAL?
Ahhhh… you see what I am showing you?
Write in on a card: What is my market in DENIAL about?
Could it be a shame? Could it be that dad was calling them fat as a kid? Were they bullied in highschool? Does their spouse not look at them like they did on their honeymoon?
Be a specific detective.
Don’t be a generalist!
You are getting down to truth conversations. You are weeding out the BS. You are coming off as a truth talker and walker.
You see, it doesn’t matter if it seems boring to you, or thinking that your customer won’t want to buy from you.
The goal is for them to leave the Youtube video KNOWING that you aren’t a BS artist. For some odd reason, your prospect can put their head to rest and still can’t fight off your truth because truth cannot be broken, or skewed.
So if you want to be an authority and get more leads that want to buy from you, STRIP OUT THE BS and start talking truth!
By the way, very few people talk truth. And that means you have less competition. Which means you can have a successful online business for years to come. People love to do business with people they TRUST!
People never forget people that prove trust, and they scorn people that lie to them!
Keep your list next to you, start stripping out what seems like BS, and swing the truth sword into your market!
